Now that we have asked you to divulge your favorite tidbits about the parks we want to share our favorite. We have chosen the Black Canyon National Park. It was tough choice with Rocky Mountain National Park coming in second. The major draw to the Black Canyon is the river. The canyon itself is beautiful but the power of the Gunnison River is overwhelming. The trails are steep and difficult but a they are well worth the hike. Attched to the Black Canyon is the Gunnison Gorge where you can take a rafting trip to really experience the river.
