Colorado Wineries
Colorado has more than majestic peaks and great ski areas. This is wine country! Colorado wineries have some of the highest altitude vineyards in the world. From the Front Range and the Rocky Mountains to the Four Corners Region your taste buds will be delighted as you sample some of Colorado's award winning wines. The majority of the vineyards are located in the Grand Valley of Southwest Colorado. These high vineyards produce some fantastic grapes in close proximity to the Black Canyon and the Gunnison Gorge.
Adventure Team's Favorite Wines
Keep in mind that we have not sampled all of the wineries yet but rest assured we are working on it, albeit a little faster than we should be. We will also have a directory with a complete listing coming soon.
Stoney Mesa
This Grand Valley vineyard makes some amazing wines. They have a great merlot that pairs well with red meat and my favorite, wild game. They have a nice tasting room that is open daily. We advise making time for a visit to this beautiful winery.
